Donations to Peter’s Pence allow the Holy Father to aid poor dioceses, religious institutes and faithful in serious difficulties. The poor, children, the elderly, the marginalized, victims of wars and natural disasters, refugees and migrants are reached through the various offices that work with the Pope's outreach. Some of the activities carried out include charitable initiatives, the Office of Papal Charities, the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, Pontifical Mission Societies, and Aid Agencies for the Oriental Churches and more.
