7th and 8th graders gather together on Sundays during the school year from 10 – 11:15. For the calendar, click here. The curriculum used, Be My Disciples, involves action based discussion and activities that focus on Christ in the New Testament, the Creed and Old Testament scripture readings. The topics covered each week invite the student to discuss their faith journey and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as one of His disciples.
9th – 12th graders are invited to join our high school class which meets on Sundays during the school year from 10 – 11:15. We encourage all high schoolers who are not participating in the Confirmation class to join us. For the calendar, click here. The curriculum, Faith Fusion, brings the Catholic Faith to life in words and images, and provides a complete review of the Catechism of the Catholic Church for students. Throughout each lesson in Faith Fusion, the focus is on providing a direct connection between the student's life, Scripture and the teachings of the Church. Discussions provide an opportunity for reflection and application of the lesson in relation to its significance for their own lives and their faith in and relationship with Christ.
As Catholics, we believe that every human being is created in the image and likeness of God. Each of us is sacred and our lives—body, mind and soul—should be treated with respect. Called to Protect™ for Youth gives our young people practical tools, in language and medium they can understand, to realize this fundamental teaching of our faith.
